I’ve found a VERY effective natural alternative to pain medicine!! Homemade Ginger Ale, NOT the store bought stuff!! Here is my recipe and dosage!!
32ozs Carbonated Water (I use a Soda Stream machine to carbonate the water)
2.5ozs Fresh Organic Ginger Root
1/2 Cup filtered water divided in half
Splenda, Stevia, Agave, or Sugar to taste
I use a Magic Bullet to make my ginger juice as I like some pulp. I cut up the ginger and grind it with 1/4 cup water, then I strain the juice using a regular metal cooking strainer, then I run the left over material through the bullet a second time with another 1/4 cup water and strain the juice out again. With that concentrate I use 2 Tablespoons of Ginger Juice, (be VERY careful with how much Ginger Juice you use, to much will burn your mouth and throat, this ratio seems to work best and taste pretty good) and 3 Tablespoons Spenda to 32ozs of Carbonated Water. I drink a 8oz glass in the morning and about an hour before bedtime, you can add a lunch time dose if you need it. Without this or STRONG pain meds (Percocet 5/325’s) I live in EXTREME pain, the pain pills only take the edge off this STOPS the pain, it’s also GREAT for Headaches, the Headache I HAD for over 4 months is now gone with this wonderful treatment!!!!
